He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Ronald Brown and Mary Watters Brown; his wife Patty Carolyn Brown; his grandchildren, Amanda Dwan Brown Cartee and Gary Lee Brown, Jr.; and his brothers, Harry David Brown and Billy Joe Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Annette Maynard, Ronale Cook (Tony), Keith Allen Brown, Mark Edwin Brown and Gary Lee Brown; and his sister Sharon Goheen. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions be given to the funeral home to help with expenses.
