John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Bennett and Teresa Bennett (Cavalier); and his siblings, Guy Bennett, Mike Benedetto, Lucy Tammaro, Josephine, Crea and Angeline DeFilippo.
He is survived by: his wife Rose M. Benedetto (Lombardozzi); his children, Teresa Morris (David) of Wellsville, Frank Benedetto (Ruth) of East Liverpool and Cyndi Rosa (Paul) of Las Vegas, NV; his grandchildren, Kelly Morris, David Morris, Holly Dryden (Wayne), Joshua (Brittney), Alexis Gorden (Kody) and Jessica Chevront (Tyler); and his great grandchildren, Jaminlee Morris, Trent Morris, Allyssa Morris (Issac), Caylyn Dryden and Jackson Morris.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Roberts Funeral Home (631 Main St, Wellsville, OH 43968). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (418 4th St, Chester, WV 26034).
