As we bid Sue farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Sue is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Buren and Atha Wilfing (Collins); her husband Leroy Shingleton; and her siblings, Mary Potts and Michael Buren.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Pierce (Michelle) of Lisbon, Doug Shingleton (Timathene) of Temple, TX and Dave Shingleton of Columbiana; and her siblings, Joan Brock of Kentucky and James Buren of East Liverpool.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Sue's name to the TEAR Fund at the Tony Teramana Cancer Center, 3204 Johnson Road, Steubenville, OH 43952.
