He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Day and Edith Day (Collins); his wife Norma J. Day; his parents-in-law, Stanley and Grace Webb (Caskey); and his siblings-in-law, Judith A. Day, Londa Day and Jim Retherford.
He is survived by: his children, Danny Day (Debbie) of West Alexandria and Tammy Vosler (Scott) of Eaton; his grandchildren, Matt Vosler, Sean Vosler (Victoria), Adam Day (Stacie) and Jenna McGraner (Jonathan); his great grandchildren, Renly Vosler, Theo Vosler, Liam McGraner and Lucas McGraner; his siblings, Dorothy Retherford of Eaton, Darrel Day of West Alexandria, Marion Day, Jr. of West Alexandria and Sewell Day of West Alexandria; and his siblings-in-law, Evelyn Hessley of Geneva, OH, Pat Smith of Wichita, KS and Larry Webb of Richmond, IN. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
