He was predeceased by : his parents, Glen, Sr. Byrd and Mabel Byrd. He is survived by : his wife Sheryl Byrd of West Alexandria; his sons, Christopher Woods (Tonya) of West Alexandria, Thomas Byrd (Chelsea) of West Alexandria and Stephen Byrd (Amanda) of West Alexandria; and his grandchildren, Jesse Woods (Mikelea), Logan Woods, Brantley Byrd, Aubrey Byrd, Emmett Byrd, Waylon Byrd and Jetson Byrd. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be sent to the American Heart Association.
