She was predeceased by: her parents, John Matherly and Emma Smiddy; and her stepfather Bill Smiddy. She is survived by: her husband Ken Mowell of West Alexandria; her sons, Matthew Mowell of West Alexandria and Lance Mowell of West Alexandria; her grandchildren, Sidney McCargish (Mason), Taylor Mowell, Skylyn Cornett (Matthew), Conner Mowell, Jayce Mowell and Blake Mowell; her great grandchild Rosemary Cornett; her brothers, J. D. Matherly (Shirley) of Terre Haute, IN and Bill Matherly of Terre Haute, IN; and her uncle Don Armstrong of Terre Haute, IN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
