We announce the death of Thomas J. Carter of West Carrollton, Ohio, who passed away on September 23, 2026, at the age of 70. Thomas will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Carter and Ethel Carter (Younger); his wife Karen Carter (Schindler); and his sisters, Tracey L. Carter and Laurie Haines.
He is survived by: his children, Vickie Webster (Danny), Chad Carter and David; his brothers, Michael Taylor (Tracy) and Jeffery Carter (Joeann); his grandchildren, Kelsey Wcela (Ron), Dannielle Carman (Jacob), Morgan Carter, Anthonie Webster, Michaela Webster, Gage Carter and Cole Carter; his great grandchildren, Adalynne, Jaxen, Tenley, Aubree, Asher, Allister, Gracie and Sunny; Laird (Sherry Grabeman). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Swart Funeral Home (207 E Central Ave, Dayton, OH 45449). The military honors will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
