She was predeceased by : her parents, Emanuel Groff and Ella Groff; her husband William F. May; her daughter Barb Brandenburg; her siblings, Paul Groff, Val Groff, Mary Barga, Francis Groff, Lloyd Groff, Dick Groff, Dottie Hemmelgarn, Joe Groff and Florine Schmitz; and her grandson Clint Payne.
She is survived by : her children, Mary Gapinski (Mark), Sue Gapinski (Mike), Rita Payne (Bob), Diane May (Kelly), Bill May (Sherri) and Jim May; her sisters, Marcy Hare and Helen Russ; her grandchildren, Ben (Adrianna), Andy, Clay, Sheri (Adam) and Allison (Charlie); and her great grandchildren, Christian, Brianna, Alexandria, Dariusz, Eliasz, Ryan, Taylor and Maya. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ohio Hospice of Dayton or St Henry Catholic Church.
