He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Sommer and Frances Sommer (Cowells). He is survived by: his wife Mary Sommer (Plessinger); his sons, William Jr. (Heather), Tom (Alissa), Steve (Stephanie) and Tim (Shelby); his grandchildren, Aidan, Autumn, Will Jr., Isaac, Sadie, Mia, Norah, Colton, Oakley and Willow; and his siblings, Linda Sommer Wilkinson (John), Charles Jr. (Diane) and David (Linda Ann) of California. He is also survived by his niece, 3 nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Swart Funeral Home (207 E Central Ave, West Carrollton, OH 45449). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
