He is survived by: his wife Barbara; and his children, Kathleen Graf, Carol Payne, Anne Schoonover, Kevin, Michael and John. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Shorten and Ryan Funeral Home (400 Reading Rd, Mason, OH 45040). A Mass will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the St. Susanna Catholic Church (616 Reading Rd, Mason, OH 45040).
These ranged from historic (his contributions to the Apollo space program and improvements in medical technology) to the essentials of everyday living that we tend to take for granted (anything from band aids to pajamas).
