He was predeceased by: his wife Rae Ann Short. He is survived by: his children, Ellen Croce, Gina Hicks, Heather Short, Kim Rye, Alina Short and Ray Casagrande. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, surpassed by 1 and 8 great grandchildren.
