She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Preston and Vestina Brown Preston; her son James E. Spears; and her sister Barbara J. Grover. She is survived by: her husband Carson C. Spears; her daughter Beth A. Krusling (John); her daughter-in-law Sherry Spears; her grandchildren, Matt Krusling (Shannon), Andy Krusling (Kelsey), Josh Krusling (Rachel), Amanda Jump (Tim) and Bailey Spears; her great grandchildren, Halle, Knox, Piper, Kolee, Grady, Luca and Maxine Krusling; and her sibling's children, Valerie Prather (Jesse), Ron Roddy (Janet), Scott Grover (Lynn) and Bill Grover (Robin).
Memorial donations may be made in her name to Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
