He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Schaeffer and Blanche Schaeffer; and his brother-in-law Louis Meo. He is survived by: his wife Susan Schaeffer; his daughters, Amy Abreu (Santiago), Carrie Carter and Samantha Armstrong; his grandchildren, Derek Carter (Tiffany), Joshua Carter, Madison Schaeffer and Sophia Armstrong; his great grandchildren, Brantley, Abigail Carter, Alaric and Arlo Carter; and his siblings, Diane Meo, Celia Sorrel (Andy), Paul Schaeffer and Carol Schaeffer.
