She is survived by: her children, Karen Schuette (Dennis), Marianne Appel, Richard Appel, Donald Appel (Maureen), Kristen Witzman (Steve) and Jeffery Appel (Jacqui); her grandchildren, Amy Eisenhuth (Jeff), Erin Appel, Brad Witzman (Jesse), Karle Goins (Brandi), Hillary Appel, Alec Appel (Olivia), Aaron Appel, Nicole Appel and Brianna Appel; her great grandchildren, Calee, Jack, Henry, Mara and Oliver; and her brother Fred Wagner (Elvira).
