She was predeceased by: her parents, Denver Davis and Marguerite Davis; her daughter Linda Simmermacher; her brothers, Roger (Lil Davis) and Jack (Carolyn Davis); and her brother-in-law Maurice (Rachael Varney).
She is survived by: her spouse Glenn Elbert Varney; her children, Robert Varney (Kate) of Lansing, Kansas, Mark Varney (Vicky) of Cincinnati, Ohio, Myra Keller (Tom) of Hamilton, Ohio, Bruce Varney (Christy) of Greenwood, Indiana. and Lisa Simmermacher England of West Chester, Ohio.; and her grandchildren, Justin Varney, Garrett Varney, Jacqueline Varney, Morgan Varney, Francesca Varney, Jason Varney, Leticia Keller, Allison Keller, Matthew Keller, Melissa McCoy, Ashley Briskey, Lilly Varney, Zoey Varney and Eric Varney.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Northminister Presbyterian Church (703 Compton Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45231).
While in nursing school, God led her to Glenn, a University of Cincinnati engineer student, through participation in the Wesley Foundation on the UC campus.
