He was predeceased by: his wife DeMeta Jenkins; his daughter Lynne Marino; his parents, George M. Jenkins and Mary Jenkins; his brother Leslie Koontz; his sister-in-law Johnna Lynn Snodgrass; and his nephew Thad Snodgrass.
He is survived by: his sons, Dr. John P. Jenkins (Janna), George M. Jenkins III and Phillip F. Jenkins, Jr.; his grandchildren, Brian, George, Jackie, Tyler, John, Kelsi, Jamie, Dallas and Alex; and his great grandchildren, Shannon and Suzanne Snodgrass.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mueller Funeral Home (6791 Tylersville Rd, Mason, OH 45040). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Anne Episcopal Church (6461 Tylersville Rd, West Chester Township, OH 45069). A burial was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at the Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens (6027 E Dupont Ave, Glasgow, WV 25086).
