He is survived by: his children, Gale Goodman (Devin) and Robert Townsend; his grandchildren, Josh Goodman (Karen), Kayla Goodman (Andrew) and Savannah Smith (Mason); his brother J. D. Townsend; his cousin Roy Townsend; and his brother-in-law Ron Roederer. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
