He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Betsy Mathis; his children, Lisa Serwicki (Chris) of Xenia and Biff Mathis (Jenna) of Union; his grandchildren, Zach Jones, Holly Jones, Kaleb Brown, Keira Mathis, Emery Mathis and Brooks Mathis; and his brother Len Mathis (JoAnn).
