He is survived by: his children, Holly Durant (Craig) of Trappe, PA, Erin Gilchrist (Owen Davies) of Fairport, NY and Sean Gilchrist (Ilean Beavers) of Manchester, NY; his grandson Silas Gilchrist of Manchester, NY; his sister Jane Gilchrist of Savannah, GA.; and his pet Chili Palmer.
