He is survived by: his wife Kathryn "Kathy" Simms; his daughters, Laura Richardson (Matt) and Amy McLain (Ken); his grandchildren, Noah J. Richardson (Dacey), Natalie A. Owen (Calvin), Matthew J. McLain and Megan K. McLain; his great grandchildren, Ada Joy Richardson and Charlotte Eve Owen; his brother Ross Patrick Simms; and his siblings-in-law, Daisy Simms, Rosey Miller (Rick) and David Ruffner (Ellin).
