He was predeceased by: his parents, James V. Martin and Ida S. Martin; his wife Janet L. Martin; his children-in-law, Luis F. Silva (Holly) and Anne M. Martin (Craig); and his close friend Betty Stephenson.
He is survived by: his children, Scott V. Martin, Craig V. Martin (Susan) and Holly L. Silva; his grandchildren, Britton V. Martin, Carmen I. Silva and Erika L. Silva; and his sisters, Beverly Elise O'Flaherty (late Ted), Marilyn A Hamm (late Ronald) and Barbara A Silva (Juan). He is also survived by several great-grand children.
