With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arlene Evonne Castor (West Jefferson, Ohio), who passed away on October 27, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Freed and Dorothy Freed; her brother Relden Freed; and her husband Richard Castor (Dick). She is survived by: her daughters, Cheryl Helms (James) of Charlotte, NC and Deborah McDonough of Dublin, OH; her grandchildren, Dr. Sarah Hamm (Megan) of Vancouver, BC, Jackson Helms of Charlotte, NC, Sean McDonough of Columbus, OH and Matthew McDonough of Dublin, OH; her niece Cynthia Rulason; and her nephew Steve Castor.
