With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arlene Evonne Castor (West Jefferson, Ohio), who passed away on October 27, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Freed and Dorothy Freed; her brother Relden Freed; and her husband Richard Castor (Dick). She is survived by: her daughters, Cheryl Helms (James) of Charlotte, NC and Deborah McDonough of Dublin, OH; her grandchildren, Dr. Sarah Hamm (Megan) of Vancouver, BC, Jackson Helms of Charlotte, NC, Sean McDonough of Columbus, OH and Matthew McDonough of Dublin, OH; and her sibling's children, Cynthia Rulason and Steve Castor.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rader-McDonald-Tidd Funeral Home (1355 W Main St, West Jefferson, OH 43162).
