We announce the death of Carol Kathleen Floyd of West Jefferson, Ohio, who passed away on September 22, 2026, at the age of 68. Carol will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Estel Messer and Carol Messer; her husband George Floyd; her daughter Christa Messer; and her siblings, Cindy, Joyce and Johnny.

She is survived by: her daughter Tisha Gibson (Paul); her grandchildren, Hannah, Jeremiah, Jason, Dillon, Justen, Makayla, DeVon and Xenia; her great grandchildren, Ja'siah, Arsiah and Nisaiah; and her siblings, Steve, Kevin, Beth and Christy. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
