He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Nelson and Hermena Nelson; his wife Sheila Nelson; his sons, Joseph Nelson (Catherine Nelson) and Mickey Nelson; and his brother Steve Nelson.
He is survived by: his daughter Erika; his son-in-law Brian Ciborek; his children, Chris Campbell (Beth) and Christina Nelson; his grandchildren, Hunter Ciborek (Mackenzie), Avery Ciborek, Brittany Campbell (Caitlin), Zachary Campbell, Kennedy Campbell, Kaiden Nelson, Joey Nelson and Molly Nelson; and his sister Helen "Becky" Witt (Larry). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many wonderful friends.
