He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul Gould and Ethel Gould; his sisters, Lynda Hysell and Mary Jo Earich; his nephew Paul Earich; and his nieces, Connie Felton and Josie Krantz.

He is survived by : his sons, Damon Jacob (Kathy) and Richard Eugene (Susan); his wife Janice Smith; and his grandchildren, Joshua Gould, Lindsey Bluck (Laken), Alayna Gould and Seth Arthur Gould.
