He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Lee and Flora Marie Kerns (Kleffman); his mother-in-law Penny McCarthy (Gordon); his nieces and nephews, Britany Kerns, Isabeau Povey, Nathan and Brandon Kerns; his great-niece Haven Kerns; his wife Kimberly K. Kerns (McCarthy); his sons, John Kerns (Kasey), Jacob Kerns (Andrea) and Jeremiah Kerns; his grandchildren, Lilly, Melody, Evalyn, Hazley, Kinley, Klaire, Reagan, Rilynn and Kayden; his siblings, Dave Kerns (Sandy), Terry Kerns (Tammy), Andy Kerns (Tammy), Rob Kerns (Amber) and Connie Kerns; his father-in-law Robert McCarthy; and his close friend Tony Fields.
He is survived by: his pet Bruno. He is also survived by his dad and siblings in their family.
