The memory of Danny L. Smith (West Mansfield, Ohio), who passed away on July 31, 2025 at the age of 78, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louie Smith and Eileen Smith (Cummings); his grandson Jaycob Fox; and his sister Rita Monroe. He is survived by: his wife Mendy Sue Smith (Ogden); his children, Yancy Smith (Tina) of Richwood and LeeAnna Raines (Brian) of York Center; his grandchildren, Ashley Barger (Dylan), Jared Smith, Breanna Raines and Gage Raines; his great grandchild Harper Malone; and his brothers, Sam Smith of Mt. Victory, Fred Smith (Arthena) of Marysville and Jim Smith of Alabama. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home, Schnurrenberger Chapel (222 W Center St, West Mansfield, OH 43358). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at the York Cemetery.
