Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Herbert Arthur Mortimore (West Mansfield, Ohio), who passed away at the age of 90, on August 15, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Mortimore and Thelma Mortimore (Klefman); and his wife Shirley E. Mortimore (Good). He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Vickie Mortimore; his siblings, Gwendolyn Burton and Eugene Mortimore; and his children, Robert Mortimore (Sherry), Mike Mortimore (Brenda), James "Dick" Mortimore, Ken Bennett (Melissa), Vicky Lynn Mortimore, Nina Mortimore and Teresa Mortimore. He is also survived by his five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the North Greenfield Methodist Church (9609 Co Rd 2, West Mansfield, OH 43358). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, August 26th 2025 at the North Greenfield Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the North Greenfield Methodist Church, the Friendly Senior Center or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, and envelopes will be available at the church.
