She was predeceased by : her parents, Ernold Lewis and Mildred Lewis (Prichard); her husband Johnny Chalmer Adkins; and her siblings, Ernold Lewis, Jr. and Virginia Anne Horn.
She is survived by : her daughter Connie Louise Barger (David) of Tuscaloosa, Alabama.; her grandchildren, Christina Barger of Tuscaloosa and David Barger of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; her sisters-in-law, Phoebe Lewis of Delbarton and Ruth Adkins; and her pet Lola.
