She was predeceased by: her parents, John Heaton and Annabell Heaton (Shelley); her husband J. B. Compton; her daughter Julie Robinaugh; her siblings, Mary Clegg (Willard), Bertha Wintrow (LeRoy) and Charles Heaton; and her brother-in-law Lester Fryman.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Compton (Cindy) of Laura, Pam Denlinger (Mark) of West Milton, Jean Burton (Richard) of New Kent, VA and Jim Compton of Vandalia; her son-in-law Bob Robinaugh of Centerville; and her sister Edith Fryman of West Milton. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Miami County Animal Shelter or Ohio's Hospice of Miami County.
