He was predeceased by: his parents, Preston Cross and Viola Cross (Godown); his son-in-law Bob Grosvenor; his granddaughter Christina Cross; and his siblings, Wilford Cross (Rose), Wilma Baker (Raymond), Robert Cross, Glenna Sharp (Walter), Mary Smith (Carol), Carl Cross (Trudy), Kathalin Root (Jessie), Joan Welbaum (Bill) and Dean Cross.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Cross (Thompson); his children, Kim Cross (Pam) of Ludlow Falls and Karla Grosvenor of West Milton; his great grandchildren, Trey Cross (Taylor) and Dylan Cross (Precious); and his great great grandchild Nora Mae Cross.
