He was predeceased by: his parents, Aaron Gilbert and Martha Gilbert (Brown); and his siblings-in-law, Dave Collins, Dave Caplinger, Dave Kracirik and Janie Turner (Ron).
He is survived by: his wife Vicki Gilbert (Truitt); his children, Molly Brown (Craig) of West Milton and Matt Gilbert (Karen) of Englewood, FL; his grandchildren, Madeline Troutwine (Colton), Olivia Brown (Peyton), Carson Brown, Isabelle Gilbert, Rachel Fredrick, Amber Fredrick and Preston Fredrick (Brianna); his great grandchild Jaxon Troutwine; his sisters, Becky Collins, Diana Ireton and Brenda Caplinger; and his sister-in-law Debbie Kracirik (Truitt). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ohio's Hospice of Miami County.
