He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Mefford and Mae Evelyn Mefford (Macy); his wife Martha Lou Mefford (Hackenberger); and his brother Paul Mefford (Sandy). He is survived by: his children, Brad Mefford (Shawna) of West Milton, Brian Mefford of West Milton and Jennifer Schraer (John) of Cincinnati; and his grandchildren, Sam, Meghan and Allison Schraer.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Hale-Sarver Funeral Home (284 N Miami St, West Milton, OH 45383). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at the Polk Grove Cemetery (9190 Frederick Pike, Dayton, OH 45414).
