He was predeceased by: his parents, William Raymond and Bertha Jane Vega (Heiden); his siblings, Phyllis Jane Jackson, Vicki Lynn Jackson, Barbara Jean Cooper, Karen Kay Myers, Joyce Ann Logan, William R. "Bill" Vega, Jr., Michael T. Vega and John David Vega; his half-sister Edith Stockman; his stepson Jerry W. Nation; and his daughter-in-law Kathleen Nation.
He is survived by: his wife Pamela Mae Vega (Waddle); his sister Patti Lynn LeBlanc; and his stepson Thomas C. Nation. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren; nieces, and nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Barnes Funeral Home (411 N Commerce St, Lewisburg, OH 45338). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at the Roselawn Cemetery (511 N Main St, Lewisburg, OH 45338).
