She was predeceased by: her parents, John Alford and Margaret "Marge" Alford-Johnson (Clemons); her grandson Bernard E. Tyree III; and her brothers, John Gilbert Alford of Tucson, AZ. and Thomas Alford.
She is survived by: her children, Anthony Cook of Laura, Marc Cook (Teresa) of Huber Heights and Christy Tyree (Bernie) of Brookville; her grandchildren, Troy Tyree, John Travis Tyree, Bradley Cook (Chelsi), Sara Cook, Cassie Cook and Tyler Cook; her great grandchildren, Miles, Malakai, Micah and Josephine; and her sister Bonnie Schmidt of Troy.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hale-Sarver Funeral Home (284 N Miami St, West Milton, OH 45383). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at the Royal Oak Memorial Gardens (7217 National Rd, Brookville, OH 45309).
