He was predeceased by: his parents, Kay Wertz and Faye Wertz (Vore). He is survived by: his wife Lisa (Holtvoigt); his grandchildren, Evangeline and Ezra Wertz; and his siblings, Wayne Wertz (Sharon Earls), Georgia Woolery (Gary), Susan Snead (Bob) and PJ Wertz (Bruce Loper).
