He was predeceased by : his parents, Bayless Adkins and Carlie Adkins (Lewis); and his daughter Carolyn Edwards. He is survived by : his wife Ruby (Dorean); his children, Linda Leasure (Randy) of South Carolina, Jeff Adkins (Donna) of West Salem, Diane Adkins (Heather) of Florida and Kathy Alaura of West Salem; and his brother Homer Adkins (Joyce). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.
