It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Carroll Devore of West Salem, Ohio, born in Marshallville, Ohio, who passed away on April 5, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his sister Donna Lowe (Eugene); and his grandson David J. Devore. He is survived by : his wife Jo (Norris); his children, David Devore (Michele Matteson) of Ohio and Barbara (Bill Bradley) of Indiana; his grandchildren, Matt Tuckson (Cilla), Victoria Devore (Andrew Liggett) and Beth Tuckson; and his granddaughter-in-law Molly Devore.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorial contributions made to West Salem Fire Department, PO Box 175, West Salem, OH 44287-0175.
