He was predeceased by: his wife Janice Nichols (Edwards); his parents, Louie Nichols and Ovella Nichols; his in-laws, Francis and Mildred Edwards; his brother Carl Nichols; and his brothers-in-law, Duane (Nancy), Francis and Dennis Edwards.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Nichols (Becky), Kris Sherrick (Bruce) and Michelle Fry (Jarrod); his grandchildren, Jeremy Nichols (Ikumi), Joe Nichols (Kathleen), Michael Nichols, Emily Lynch (Joe), Jonathan Sherrick, Claire Sherrick, Matthew Fry, Emma Fry and Abbie Fry; his brothers, Harold "Nick" Nichols, Craig Nichols (Becky) and John Nichols (Joyce); and his sisters-in-law, Pat Edwards, Marcia Edwards and Joann Neisner. He is also survived by his seven great-grandchildren.
Friends and family who wish to send condolences may make donations to the Ashland Council on Aging – Meals on Wheels, an organization that graciously supported Kenny during his final year.
