He was predeceased by: his parents, John Monaco and Mary Monaco (Soltis); his son Joey Monaco; his brothers, Steve and John (Diane); and his father-in-law Ron Jellick.
He is survived by: his wife Joni Monaco (Jellick); his children, Mara Welch (Jonathan), Mark Monaco (Marissa Kelley) and Scott McLellan; his siblings, Anthony Monaco (Shirley) and Delores Taylor (Lewis); his mother-in-law Helen Jellick; his siblings-in-law, Tom Jellick (Dee) and Kris Martray (Keith); his nieces and nephews, Angie Monaco (Art), Steve Monaco, Michael Jellick, Nathan Jellick (Marissa), Keith Martray and Jillian Martray; his stepsibling's children, Troy Pots, Patty Giles, Joe Taylor and Linda Williams; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Allie, Wyatt and Emmett.
