She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Hines and Letha Hines (Niday); her husband Francis Gray; her sons, Douglas Gray, Denis Caperton, Don Caperton and Daryl Gray; and her siblings, Nancy Maxine Keller, Charles Edgar Hines and Victor Hines Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Denise Miller (Ron) of Wooster, Daniel Caperton of Ashland and Doris Graber (Robert) of Ashland. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, as well as several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Matteson Funeral Home (40 Congress Rd, West Salem, OH 44287). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Mohican Church Cemetery (7759 Elyria Rd, West Salem, OH 44287).
