As Suzan departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Suzan. Though Suzan may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Wiehe and Saundra Wiehe (Schaeffer). She is survived by: her husband Charles "Chuck" Mertes; her children, Nathan and Zoey; her brothers, Richard Wiehe (Cathy) of Mansfield and Dave Wiehe (Jenny) of Barron, Wisconsin; and her siblings-in-law, John Mertes of California, Carol Shaw (Mertes) of Michigan and Dean Mertes of Iowa. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, a great-great-nephew, and dear friends.
