He was predeceased by: his parents, William Frederick Franklin Jr. and Doris Gregory Franklin (Smith). He is survived by: his wife Sue; his son Clay; his daughter-in-law Carma Franklin of Spencer; his brothers, Gregory (Pam Franklin) and Paul (Nancy Franklin); and his siblings-in-law, John, Lou King and Kris Williams of Massachusetts.
