He is survived by: his children, Kyle Carkeek (Carrie) of Peebles and Courtney Myers (Matt) of Blue Creek; his siblings, Bill Carkeek (Edie) of Amelia, Sandy Woodman (John) of Kentucky and Janelle Clark (Denny) of Montana; and his grandchildren, Chloe, Madi, Mabel, Ridge and Rhett.
A memorial gathering was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Wheat Ridge Community Building (3735 Wheat Ridge Rd, West Union, OH 45693). A celebration of life was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
