She was predeceased by : her parents, Raymond "Strikey" Black and Mary Lou Black (Prather); her husband John Edward Taylor; and her close friend Pat Mason. She is survived by : her daughter Melissa Reed (Joey); her brother Thomas L. Black (Karen); her grandchildren, Alexandria Swango, Bryce, Allison Winters, Austin, Amanda McFarland and Tyler; her great grandchildren, Raelynn, Ellie, Ryker, Wade and Haisley; and her pet Emma Jane.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Hospice of Hope.
