He was predeceased by: his father Ronald Gast; his son J. W. Gast; and his brothers, Kenny Gast, Darrin Gast and Randy Gast.
He is survived by: his mother Sue Morris (Andrews); his stepfather George Morris of Georgetown; his children, Ronald Gast (Katy) of Belair, OH, Travis Gast of Georgetown, Samantha Gast, Candice Phipps (James) of Russellville, Amber Gast, Toni Helton (John) of Russellville and Ashley Gast (Clark) of West Union; and his siblings, Robert Morris of Georgetown, Charles Morris (Janet) of Georgetown, Nikki Gast of Mt. Orab and Kristi Young (Kip) of Georgetown. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
