She was predeceased by: her parents, Bessie Mae (Swearingen) and George Jerald Lucas; her husband Ora Emerson Nixon; her children, Andrew Jerald Nixon, Cindy Lee Nace (Nixon), Gail Ann Puckett (Nixon) and Donald Dwayne Nixon; her grandsons, Rodney Emerson Nixon and Timothy Ray Bivens Jr.; and her great grandchild Chrissy Willow Cullum.
She is survived by: her siblings, George Earl Lucas, William Forrest Lucas and Betty Lucille Crank (Lucas); her daughter Neta Christine Nixon (Bivens); her great grandchildren, Cheyenne Nicole Cox (Houchen) and Chad Wade Allen Long; and her grandchildren, Bethany Ann Reed (Nixon), Andrew Joshua Nixon, Brandy Christine Aness (Nixon), Jennifer Lee Nace (Long), Amy Jo Nace, Alice Marie Weeks (Puckett), Thomas Puckett and Dawnya Opal Cullum (Nixon). She is also survived by her family, she and her husband had 100 foster children, 18 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren.
