He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Scott (Haag) and Robert Scott; and his wife Linda Scott. He is survived by: his daughter Dr. Suzy Kraemer (Tom Kraemer) of Roanoke, Virginia; his grandsons, Patrick Kraemer of Jackson and Christopher Kraemer of Atlanta, Georgia; his son Bobby Scott of West Union; and his siblings, Robert Anderson and Michelle Hafner of Cincinnati.
