She was predeceased by : her parents, Paul Niese and Lorenza Buet Niese; her husband Joel R. Hobbs; her son Paul Hobbs; and her brothers, Leo and John Niese.

She is survived by : her sons, John Hobbs (Melissa), Lee Hobbs and Joel Hobbs (Kim); her grandchildren, Hannah, Grace, Joel, Stephanie, Shelby, CJ, Abby, Emily and Kyler; her siblings, Geralyn Noirot and Jerome Niese; and her close friend Gene Evans.
