Richard left this world on June 7, 2025 at the age of 77, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his mother Ruth Wickline; his wife Sharon Heater; and his grandson Weston Unger. He is survived by: his children, Jeremy Heater of West Union, Brett Heater (Sarah), Kelly Hill (Karl), Teresa Bradford (Dustin) and Ashley Unger (Matthew); his granddaughter McKinley Heater of Sardinia; and his sisters, Audra Galford (Don), Helen Brown of Chillicothe, Karen Wickline of Beckley, WV and Dawn Balcom (Jimmy). He is also survived by great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and at 1:00 PM at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home (216 W Mulberry St, West Union, OH 45693).
